I'm Christy, the founder and creator of Aloeswood Beauty.
Being born in Alaska and my love of nature has influenced what I do at Aloeswood. I create an environment that beholds beauty, and I hope to share it with all of you.
I facilitate healing skin, bodies, and spirits. It has been a lifelong pursuit. Before becoming an esthetician, I practiced massage therapy for over twenty years working with olympic chiropractors, exclusive clientele and bringing my spa experience to spa’s all over the world including Tony Robbin’s Namale Resort, Fiji Islands, Pure Jungle Spa, Costa Rica, Ritual Spa+ Yoga my own creation, Bocas Del Toro, Panama, International Orange, San Francisco, and Shou Shugi Ban House, New York. One of my specialties is creating new treatments for spas and training staff to perfection. At Aloeswood I believe and celebrate the medicinal grade, spirit lifting properties of aromatherapy. You will find it in every aspect of my work. My treatments are like mini ceremonies blessing you.
Deep relaxation finds itself in every treatment. Carefully vetted products and techniques are integrated into each treatment to create a one of a kind experience.
I'm also a trained yoga + kundalini teacher and nutrition coach, with a passion for teaching anatomy, physiology, and Dermatology to beauty therapists. I wrote my thesis on ancient healing and respect all ancestors of every tradition of healing and feel grateful to participate and share the knowledge I continue to learn. I love to mix science with spirituality.
I taught, trained and proctored the international CIDESCO exam until I opened Aloeswood Beauty in 2015.

Hello I’m Brittany, locally born and raised in the Bay Area, and come from a long line of ancestral healers in Mexico. I have always had a deep spiritual and intimate connection with nature and fascinated with holistic and naturopathic remedies.
This passion comes from the great appreciation I have for my cultivating and mending ancestors, who I strive to honor in this life. At Aloeswood Beauty I am able to achieve this honor by practicing natural healing through products that are infused with the highest quality of plant based sciences.
In 2016 I was awarded my international CIDESCO Estheticians license and have been working in the skin care industry ever since. Now, at Aloeswood Beauty, I am able to join together my two passions, skin care and holistic healing. I not only bring the knowledge of skin but also provide nurture and positive intention to you with each treatment at Aloeswood Beauty. I can’t wait to share this moment with you.
